the coastergirl diaries volume thirty-five

one night we dxm'd. felt like it. no real reason we just wanted to...wait, that's not true. a freind of ours, army-guy had never (as i told you before) had never done any drugs and he maintained that nothing existed beyond what could be seen with the untrained eye and such. we told him about dxm. he was willing.

i sat indian style on my chinese horoscope rug and chatted with him in the meantime. while we were wating for it to hit.

army guy: is this gonna make me freak out?
me: it will if you go into it thinking like that.
army guy: sorry
me: don't appologize to me.

before long he was feeling it pretty good and went out onto the porch to look at the sky. while coastergirl and i walked down the road to get some more. for me.

it was a long walk and coastergirl insisted on waiting outside the place under a big streetlight at 3 am in an empty parking lot. it was unhumorous. but it such a state. safety is the way you feel.

on the way back i noticed army guys license plate: dxm 180. pure coincidence. he'd never heard of it before us.

when we got back army guy had found these little marble chess pieces i have and had set them out at ten and two aclock from him while he sat on the center of my rug arms crested in meditation.

he opened his eyes.

army guy: there's this whole other world. i can feel the heartbeat of everyone for miles. some of them are truley scared. and it's cold. so cold out there. why don't we sit int he armth in her (he placed his finger to his temple)?

then he gestured to the chess pieces.

army guy: these are my troops. they gaurd me while i sleep walk.

so we listened and answered while army guy asked me about the universe and what's after life and the apocoalypse and why numbers add up the way they do.

he passed out five hours later only halfway through his questions.

the next time we saw him he'd grown a beard and was telling people about the birth of vision. that was three days later.
