save yourself!

i've been sitting here for a few mintues now thinking about our differences. i have sepent a great deal of my life thinking about differences. then i realized i have spent relatively little time thinking about what we have in common. so i have put forth the task for myself to make a small list of the things we all have in common.

we all laugh. we all hate sometimes. we all fall in love. we all cry. we all wish we could be something other than what we are. we all beg. we all ask. we all cancel plans. we all smother people. we all hope. we all want. we all lust. we all dream. we all build images in our minds of how we wish our life was, of how we ant it to be. we all feel alone sometimes. we all want to be liked. we all want to be adored by someone. we all crave attention. we all eat. we all sleep. we all drink water. we all have favorite colors. we all move from place to place from time to time. we all have to work to earn money. we all breathe air. we all feel bad when we say something mean. we all say mean things sometimes. we all speak truth sometimes. we all get upset. we all feel calm and collected sometimes. we all hate lonliness. we all ask for forgiveness from someone at some point. we all want forgiveness to be asked of us at some point. we all throw things away we should keep. we all keep things we should throw away. we all feel afraid sometimes. we all feel couragous like a lion at times. we all lose out temper. we all hold back. we all what is necessary sometimes. we all do unnecesary things sometimes. we all feel the need to appologize. we all like space of our own. we all like our own ideas. we all like other people's ideas sometimes. we all don't want to admit it sometimes. we all lose. we all win. we are all desperately waiting for something, someone to come and save us.
