maybe i've lost my faith in history

this was actually an entry in orpheusdown's guestbook, but i thought it suited today pretty well, so i decided to post it here. thanks ken, for being.

often when i lose things i blame friends of mine for stealing them. my cousin once told me it was bad karma. i told him i knew that but usually if you blamed someone for stealing it you would find it right afterwards becauyse god wants you to feel like an ass for being an ass and it was worth feeling like a peice of shit and having to deal with the bad karma in order to get back what i lost. anyway.
