a collection of thoughts part one

this is a collection of thoughts: radio lately is boring me (clear channel, you can stick it up your ass). n.p.r. never disapoints. i've been stuck inside two records for the last week or so: liz phair's debut record, "exile in guyville" and shannon wright's "over the sun." i'm drinking more coffee now that i used to. cigarettes have reached a certain level of holiness in my daily activities. there is an increasing amount of strangeness the further i look into the fed.gov.'s relationship with pablo escobar. i routinely buy strangely colored lighters so that i can be certain which one is mine when in a group situation. at my office, my cellphone is constantly going in and out of service (with a loud "ping!" marking it) despite sitting int he exact same location on my desk. i have gotten to the point where i don't even notice the soud it makes every thirty seconds or so. i have two computers at home with cd burners but no high speed internet connection, whereas at work, i have one computer with high speed connection, but no cd burner. i am considered strange by a great many people. today is moving at the pace of a morning snail.
