easy (on the) eyes

it's like how sometimes
sitting under the speaker
you can almost see the
sound spill out and
run across the floor

and you know,
when this happens
it's only a matter of
time before it evaporates
and floats off
into the sun.

but who needs to own it?

the trick here is to just lay
back and watch the world move
let the songs just flow out
hit the floor with all the pace
of a monster truck
breaking memory banks
when they try to recall
a better song, a better moment

and you won't because
life may be full of fools
but it's easy on the eyes
most of the time.
