the how-to guide on learning

along the way i've been lucky enough to meet some pretty good people, gentle-folk, loud-folk, mad-folk, fire-starters, barn-burners, cake-makers. seen some places that daze the brain and loved a few times (hard and soft) moved on forgotten a few important things, been late for meetings, lost jobs, quit jobs, found god, lost god, found life, watched life be lost. i am sorrounded by greatness at every turn, every arch and curve of an ankle or line of hip, every day and every evening, every sleep and every morning. i am sorrounded by the heroism of people and places that live far better than i. my sorroundings are greater than me. how else would i learn?
