and these eyes, they drown
themselves some nights
(i can't remember any of them)
but i'm sure, there are some
and tired is a series of days
not yet spent and just
how many more days
must we all go on?

not surely, you can have
a heart that's left over from
the war i lost
was long and my legs
are too tired to go
anywhere

care
