the sailor's way

it only took two weeks for you to be willing to trade out ten years for the next and newest shining star. that's what i thought would happen. that's why i opposed so harshly at first. i realized that when the boat changes harbors you can stop sailing or you can try to make the boat return. it doesn't return. it never does.

so i rolled into the punches and admitted that (by your decision) it was time for me to stop sailing.

i still miss the sea.
