used to be I was certain about pretty much everything and in some ways, I still am, but I�ve noticed how the things I�m certain of now are different from what I was so certain about at 15, 16, 18 and how that seems to happen. There�s a turnover rate to beliefs and when it happens all your neat little rows of certainty are erased as easy as chalk from sidewalks and you�re left holding onto nothing and staring life in the face and maybe that�s how it should always be.
