and so much laughter, more

The pressure of old age is more than
most children can bear
so listening gets harder
by the minute
and were just aloud enough to hear
but not remember
what we swore, when we were their age
would never be true of us
and lo and behold,
because we know its true
we emphasize more than out parents
to try and get the point across,
but we wont,
because it shouldnt be.
like ted, dont forget to wind your watch.
