steve mcqueen, master, cowboy, buddha

i was reading an entry by an old roommate of mine earlier and i couldn't help but think of steve mcqueen. like "bullit" steve mcqueen, dark horse, complete conduct code of his own with no regaurd for what anyone else thought or said. not that he didn't listen, just that he was completely unaffected by another person having an opposing view. it was beautiful. and really, the only time he had conflict with people of opposing views (despite that list including nearly everyone alive), the conflict was either started by the other party or else he was put in a situation where someone else was interferring with his ability to live the way he chose.

yes, in the dark sometimes (of life or day) i see old steve mcqueen, master, cowboy, buddha walking his one way walk, living life his way and not paying too much attention to people with other value systems. his right was right for him and you're right was right for you. that is unless of course, his right put him in a position of having to stop you from fucking with someone else's rights. so to speak.
